We spent the weekend in the city of Tver, which is about a three hour train ride north west of Moscow. The river Volga runs through the city, which is the longest river in Europe. Tver is a smaller city, with a population of just over 400,000.

Our first day there, we visited several museums and had a walking tour of the city.

On the second day, we had an afternoon boat ride on the Volga river.

After the boat ride, we had lunch and headed back to the train station and took the train back to Moscow. Upon arriving in Moscow, Milica, Will, and I headed to the Red Square to do some shopping.

When we arrived, I recognized a famous Russian figure standing near the entrance to the square....

Apparently Lenin and Stalin like to hang out here too, but I haven't seen them...yet!
